On November 26th, the Freshmen Cup Basketball Game of the 16th Sports Games of Jiangsu University was successfully ended at the school gymnasium. A total of nearly 300 athletes from 21 college participated in this competition. After 57 games in 5 weeks, School of Energy and Power Engineering won the championship and School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering won the runner-up, followed by School of Electrical and Information Engineering, School of Teacher Education, School of Material Science and Engineering, School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering, School of the Environment and Safety Engineering and Jingjiang College. The units that won Sportsmanship Award were School of Mechanical Engineering and School of Electrical and Information Engineering. The units that won the Active Participant Awards were School of Medicine and School of Pharmacy. Zhang Kai, from School of Energy and Power Engineering, won the MVP. The Best Scorer was Bai Yuhang, from School of Electrical and Information Engineering, and Three-score King was Yang Xiaoyong, from School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering.

21 teams from colleges were divided into 4 groups. After the single round system in groups, two teams of each group entered the final. Then the cross match was adopted for the places.
