On the afternoon of January 12th, Sports Department of our school held a symposium for retired faculty and staff. 19 retired faculty members from four campuses were invited, of which the oldest was over 90 years old and the youngest had just retired this year. The Party and Government team and the part-time management personnel of management centers of Sports Department attended the symposium. All gathered together to discuss on the development of our school sports.

At the symposium, Secretary of the Party General Zhou Jun, on behalf of other team members, briefly introduced the work of qualified teachers in sports, sports education, sports research, group competition and stadium construction in recent years. The elder teachers at the meeting stated that such a symposium, giving them a sense of belonging, was the first time since the merger of the three schools which they had been looking forward to for a long time. At the same time, the elder teachers put forward a lot of suggestions on teaching reform and management of Sports Department from the perspective of sports development of our school. In the end, Secretary Zhou Jun, on behalf of all members, thanked the elder teachers for their suggestions and welcomed every of them to come back and wished the old comrades a happy new year and a healthy and long life!
