On the eve of the Qingming Festival, all party members of the Party General Branch of Sports Department visited the Wannan Incident Martyrs Cemetery and the former site of the New Fourth Army Memorial Sites in Jingxian, Anhui Province, carrying out a thematic party day activity of “reminiscing the revolutionary martyrs, remaining true to original aspiration, renewing the party oath, and keeping the mission firmly in mind”.

On March 31, all the party members of the Party General Branch of Sports Department, with excitement and reverence, came to this solemn martyr’s cemetery and offered wreaths for the revolutionary martyrs. All the party members relived the unforgettable party oath in face of the bright red party flag under the leadership of the Secretary of Party General Branch, Zhou Jun, standing in front of the majestic Martyrs Monument and solemnly raising their right hand. Here, we expressed our deep grief and endless yearning to the revolutionary heroes who had been sleeping here in a way unique of communists.

At the oath ceremony, Secretary Zhou addressed that we were supposed to remember this unforgettable day forever, always remember the vows made under the party flag and always remember the solemn commitment to the revolutionary martyrs. He also said each of our party members must thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Age and the spirit of the 19th Party Congress, firmly grasp and resolutely safeguard General Secretary Xi Jinping’s core position in the Party Central Committee and the whole party, resolutely safeguard the fundamental political responsibility of the authority of Party Central Committee and centralized and unified leadership, be a teacher who satisfied the people, be an excellent Communist Party member, and take practical actions to add brilliance to the party flag.
