On May 20th, the two-day college students’ table tennis competition in the 16th sports game of Jiangsu University came to an end in the gymnasium. After two days of intense competition, the athletes constantly adjusted their tactics, fought with wisdom and courage and struggled with the physical strength. In the end, Faculty of Science won Men’s Team Champion and School of Medicine won Women’s Team Champion, followed by School of Material Science and Engineering, School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, School of Food and Biological Engineering, Overseas Education College, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering and School of Energy and Power Engineering with Men’s Team Awards and School of Liberal Arts, School of Finance and Economics, Jingjiang College, School of Pharmacy, School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering, School of Electrical and Information Engineering and School of Management with Women’s Team Awards.

There was a total of 18 college team of men and women participating in this competition, with about 200 athletes. Grouping cycle was used in the first stage with two out of three, while cross eliminating method was used in the second phase with three out of five.
