On October 13th, the Orienteering Competition of the 17th Sports Meeting of Jiangsu University was held grandly in Dongshan track field. This is the first time that our school has listed orienteering as an event in the school sports meeting. Orienteering originates from northern Europe, which combines sports and recreation, physical fitness and thinking together. With the help of a compass and a directional map, participants punch cards according to the sequence of spots marked out on the map and choose the best route suitable for themselves to the finishing line, among which who uses the shortest time will win the competition. This is a highly interesting "treasure hunt" sport, which has gradually come into the public eye, drawn great attention and has been welcomed broadly.
