In order to optimize the structure of and expand the strength of women’s football team as well as prepare well for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, CFA has recently announced a new training list of Women’s National Team. Yao Lingwei, Zhai Qingwei, Wan Ruyi, three undergraduates—high-level women football players from School of Teacher Education in our university were selected successfully. At present, they three girls have been trained with the National Team in Chongqing, going to participate in 2019 CFA China Team· “Locajoy Cup” of Yongchuan International Women’s Football Tournament”, which was going to be held in the stadium of sports center in the Yongchuan District, Chongqing City, against the Brazilian, Canadian and New Zealand Women’s National Football teams.

In recent years, our high-level sports team has become a strong force among universities in China and has obtained excellent results in competitions. Our school women’s football team won the first prize in the competition of Jiangsu Provincial Campus Football “Governor Cup” for three consecutive years, and won a runner-up in the Women’s Football Competition of the 13th National Student Sports Games (joint team with Jiangsu Normal University), and won the runner-up and other outstanding achievements in the National College Women Indoor Futsal Championship.
