On November 17th, the Freshmen Cup Basketball Competition of the 18th Sports Games of Jiangsu University was successfully ended on the second floor of the school gymnasium, fighting for top 8. The competition started on October 19th and lasted nearly one month, a total of 20 teams participating. The competition was divided into four stages: group stage, cross-match, semifinals and finals, and 52 events were experienced in all. Each college attached great importance to this competition and selected elite students to play, arranging cheerleaders to cheer the athletes.

Through fierce competitions, School of Electrical and Information Engineering won the championship and School of Materials Science and Engineering won the runner-up, followed by School of Energy and Power Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Food and Biological Engineering, School of Management, and School of Medicine.
