From December 1st to 7th, the Men’s Basketball Second League of 2019 Jiangsu Provincial CUBA (Undergraduate Group) was held in the gymnasium of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics. There were 16 powerful teams advanced from the divisions of Nanjing, Sunan, Central Jiangsu and Subei, competing for the championship.

Our school coach Li Zhanqi led the men’s basketball team, which consisted of 15 college students. In a few days of group matches, cross matches and semi-finals, our team all performed excellently, passing through all the ways towards to the Finals with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. During the Finals, our team abided by the rulers, cooperated efficiently, controlling the ball stably, acted flexibly and shot accurately. Eventually, our team won the Finals by 79:53, a significant advantage to be the champion.

It was the second time for our school to win the championship after 2018 Provincial CUBA (Undergraduate Sunshine Group). For two consecutive years, our school qualified to take part in the National Finals of CUBA Second League on behalf of the only representative of undergraduate team of Jiangsu Province.
